In Today's Episode, Am going to be talking about the consequences of using generators inside or in an enclosed space.
Recently some teenagers died of a suspected CO poisoning in Sapele Road Benin city, Nigeria, This unfortunate incident is believed to have occurred because teens left generator running, in the kitchen while sleeping. sadly, this incident is a lesson on how poisonous CO could be when emitted in an enclose area.
One would wonder why non of them was able to wake up and short off the generator. This is because what actually kills is CO, which has no smell and gradually cut off oxygen supply to the body cells.
This poisonous gas when inhaled, goes to Red blood cell and kick off Oxygen from hemoglobin, it then binds to the oxygen carrier, as a result the body tissues will not be able get enough Oxygen which most times leads to death.
Unfortunately because of problem of power failure in Nigeria, generator,has become an essential part of our lives. Generator can be our friend or can destroy us depending on how we use it. My advice will be to use it wisely to avoid the repeat of what happened in Benin. Pls make sure your generator is in a place where it can emit its waste gas in an open space.

Abeg my people anytime wey U dey use your generator and start feeling dizzy, headache, nausea, or vomiting, biko, ejoorr check whether your generator dey for the proper place ooo and be sure say the waste gas the comot for the place where I suppose de comot.
