Senator Ahmed Makarfi "Peoples Democratic Party caretaker committee chairman, Senator Ahmed Makarfi has been reportedly involved in an auto crash. According to a report by Premium Times, a vehicle conveying the National Chairman of the Peoples Makarfi, was involved in a multiple collision with other vehicles along Abuja-Kaduna Highway. It was further reported that the former governor and current caretaker committee chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party is unhurt. A report by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has shown that there is a cholera outbreak in Kwara state. And about 17 deaths have been linked to the ongoing outbreak. The revelation was made in NCDC's "weekly epidemiological report for Week 26 released on Tuesday, July 18, 2017". "According to the report, 1,617 suspected cases of cholera were reported throughout the state with the 17 fatalities representing a 1.1% fatality rate".

Shane McMahon of WWE narrowly escapes death. Vince McMahon's only son was with a pilot in a Robinson R-44 chopper when the engine malfunctioned. A newborn baby boy was found abandoned on Monday evening behind a house at Vries Street in Stutterheim, South Africa. It was alleged that the baby was heard crying by the occupants of the building. The little boy was taken to the hospital where he is receiving medical attention. A case of child abandonment has been registered at Stutterheim SAPS. Police investigation has been launched to track down the mother of the child. The accused, killed his victim while they were fighting over money in an apartment that they both shared.  In a video posted online, the suspect who has just one hand said he only stabbed the deceased once, claiming that the killing was a mistake. But the interrogator pointed out to him that the victim had about 6 stabbing wounds on his body, including the neck area, where the jugular veins are found.  The accused still denied the statement claiming that the wounds on the deceased hands were inflicted when they were both struggling with the knife. How sad. What can people not do for money?

South African pastor Lesego Daniels makes members eat flowers  Pastor Lesego Daniels[ forgive me if am pronouncing his name wrong] is in the news again and just like at other times, he's feeding his members another bizarre substance. This time around, Pastor Lesego Daniels of the Rabboni Centre Ministry Church in South Africa gave congregants flower to eat for healing. He instructed some church workers to pluck decorative flowers from the podium of the church then they were given to members to eat. Pastor Lesego said eating the flowers are part of a healing process. In the past, Daniels had asked his members to eat grass which they claimed tasted like cornflakes. He had also given them petrol to drink at some point and they said it tasted like pineapple juice. A congregant told Daily Sun that the flowers they ate recently tasted like mint chocolate. The attack occurred this evening and resulted in a gun battle between the robbers and the Nigerian Army. Two passengers caught in the crossfire were shot dead and two of the robbers were also killed. Photos of the result of the gun battle shows a red car with glass shattered by bullets and a bullet hole in the body of the car. The innocent people killed include one female and one male civilian. A Nigerian Doctor based in USA has gone on a shooting spree in his former workplace...... 45 yrs old Doctor Henry Bello, went on a shooting spree  at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital on Friday afternoon.  Dr Bello  had been sacked for allegedly harassing a colleague. During the shooting rampage, HBello, killed one female doctor and left at least six other victims critically injured. The man in question "had a troubled past including arrests for sexual assault, burglary, fare-jumping and public urination, according to reports".
