Lanre Gentry, Mercy Aigbe's estranged husband, has launched a father's day attack on the Nigerian government, blaming them for  "not minding their business and directly/indirectly separating his home".

Guys if you still remember, Lanre was arrested a few months ago for battering his wife and the mother of his child, Mercy. So for some reasons, Mr. Gentry feels that his arrest was unjustifiable and that it lead to the collapse of his marriage.

Also in the same Instagram post, the angry husband threw a big shade on his estranged wife for being an ambassador for the "abolish widows maltreatment" campaign. Lanre wrote and I quote "Makes me wonder why someone will take up being a widow ambassador when her husband isn't dead"...lol!!

  

This he wrote because, a few weeks ago, Mercy Aigbe decided to join the campaign that fights for the abolishment of widows maltreatment in Nigeria. So Mr. Gentry thought that it was wrong of her to do so since Lanre is still alive.

My Take:

Mr. Lanre, are you trying to tell us that your are Mercy's husband as long as she lives? hah nawa, abeg my brother, If you still love your wife, you should look for a way to apologize to her for the all the abuse you subdued her to, work on your anger issues and woo her back.  I dont think that going to the social media to shade her or bad mouth the government would do you any good. To be honest any man that abuses his wife does not deserve her. so you know!!!

Secondly, your wife Mercy is on a good course. She is fighting for the rights of widows who suffer different kinds of abuse from people around them most especially, from men.

So stop seeking for sympathy. Just do the right thing Lanre.
