Nigerians are angry after a ##FreeEvans movement was launched on Twitter.

Nigerians have gone gaga "Twitter on fire after a #FreeEvans movement was launched on Twitter. The Evans supporting group is on a mission urge the police to the release notorious kidnapper, Chukwudubem Onwuamadike also known as Evans". --Naija News

 Evans was arrested on "Saturday, June 10, by the Nigerian police force after evading arrest", several times. 

 A few days ago, some "Nigerian Twitter users who believe that Evans should be released because he is not as corrupt as some of our politicians launched a movement to release the crime lord from prison". These group "believe that Evans should not face punishment if some politicians can evade judgment after embezzling from Nigerians". wow

 So as expected, the request by the #freeEvans movement got many Nigerians upset.  They fired back by "saying that the kidnapper does not deserve to be free after causing so much pains and loss to many families. 





My Take:

Honestly, I'm shocked at the emergence of this so-called #freeevans movement. So what happened to the innocent blood that was shed by this guy and his gang. Why have the thoughts of many of us been so twisted to the extent that we don't know where to draw the lines again.   Do politicians embezzling public fund now justify stealing and kidnapping? Mmmhhh Nigerians, we have a long way to go. my God.

Man, His Wife And 3 Kids Dies Of Suspected Food Poisoning In Anambra State

A family of 5 have died of a suspected food poisoning in Okija, Anambra state. The incident reportedly occured on Wednesday 9th of August, 2017. According to the Facebook user, Don val who shared both videos and photos of the incident, the man-of-the-house and his kids started vomiting blood while they ate from the super his wife and mother of kids prepared. The man and his 3 kids were then rushed to the hospital but unfortunately they all died one after the other.
