Nigerian Doctor Kills fellow doctor and injures 6, during shooting rampage in Bronx Lebanon Hospital

A Nigerian Doctor based in USA has gone on a shooting spree in his former workplace......

45 yrs old Doctor Henry Bello, went on a shooting spree at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital on Friday afternoon. Dr Bello had been sacked for allegedly harassing a colleague.

During the shooting rampage, HBello, killed one female doctor and left at least six other victims critically injured. The man in question "had a troubled past including arrests for sexual assault, burglary, fare-jumping and public urination, according to reports".

"It is believed that his medical license had expired and he had ultimately resigned before he was fired because of his inappropriate behaviour towards a fellow staff member in 2015".

According to reports, the Nigerian-born family practitioner went into his former workplace wearing a white lab coat with an AR-15 machine gun hidden underneath, with the intention of targeting" some particular victims.

"It was alleged that "when his original target was not present, he opened fire on others". 

Police said that Bello tried to "set himself on fire after the shooting, but it activated the sprinklers which extinguished the blaze". So "he then turned the gun on himself".

"AlThough the incident is being treated as a tragic incident of workplace violence and had no links to terrorism", an eyewitness said that he had promised to commit this crime when he was fired two years ago.....now he has fulfilled his promise.

My Take:

My God......Uncontrolled anger leads to rage, rage when unchecked gives birth to violence including murder. 

Unbelievable.  After passing through the eyes of the needle to graduate from the medical school. This man just wasted himself, who knows what his mental status was before committing this atrocity? This is so unfortunate.
