Yobe Senator-Bukar Ibrahim-claims that "affair with two women is a private matter"

After a video of Bukar Ibrahim seen half naked with two females in a motel was leaked, the lawmaker in an interview with the Premium Times says that "it's a personal matter that doesn't affect his public office".....wow!

Few days ago, a video showing Bukar Ibrahim of Yobe state was released online. In the video, the senator was seen naked with some chics. As the video began to circulate, Nigerians began criticizing the senator and his adulterous act. 

So Premium Times approached Bukar to hear his own side of the story but the ex-governor decided to justify his immoral act by claiming that he did not rape the ladies nor commit any crime by dancing the tango with the stray women.

Bukar Ibrahim in his own words said: 

"This is a personal, private matter. What does my having been with a girl have to do with the public?

“You know the normal thing: people ask for unreasonable things, and if you deny them, they try to blackmail you if they have a way,” he reportedly said.

Continuing, Ibrahim reportedly said: “If they say I raped, that’s a different matter altogether. Is it because I am a public official then I am not supposed to be entitled to private life?

“They just mentioned it to me as a joke and I took it as nothing really serious. This is something that happened between two adults.

“I have commenced investigations to find out why it is circulating,” the senator said. “But from all indications, it is a blackmail,”  Ibrahim reportedly said.

"The ex-governor, who is representing Yobe East Senatorial District maintained that he had not committed any official wrongdoing and the video was only made public after attempts to blackmail him failed."--PULSE.NG

My Take:

Nigerian Politician won't stop amazing me. Looting our national treasure is not enough for them but also committing adultery with a straight face and not being disciplined for that is part of their duties as leaders. Shame on them.  Such a pig!
