Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby visits President Buhari in London



Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby on Friday, August 4th, 2017, visited the President of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari at the Abuja House, London.
 A statement by the president's media aide, Femi Adeshina revealed that the Archbishop and President Buhari are friends and the duo "share deep respect for each other".
Also in the statement, Archbishop Welby allegedly "said he was delighted to see the rapid recovery President Buhari has made from his health challenges. Welby was said to have attributed the progress in Buhari's health to "the healing powers of God, and answer to prayers of millions of people around the world".

The cleric reportedly promised "to continue praying for both President Buhari and Nigeria.
In his response, the Nigerian President thanked Archbishop Welby, whom he noted had always stood by him at critical times, and wished him God's continued grace in his spiritual duty of leading the Anglican Communion worldwide."
