Ozubulu Shooting: Police invite ‘Bishop Ozubulu’ for questioning
According to a report by The Sun, Anambra State Police Command has invited Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonu, a.k.a Bishop Ozubulu for questioning this coming Friday. Bishop, as we all know, is the man alleged to be the target of the August 6th, attack at St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Ozubulu, Anambra State.

Mr Ikegwuonu returned to his community on Saturday. On Monday, he along with some of his friends visited the survivors of the attack at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi where they are receiving treatments. He reportedly attended church service at St. Philips last Sunday.

The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nkeiru Nwode, revealed that some other members[leaders] of the Ozubulu community have been invited and questioned concerning the same incident.
ASP Nwode said that Bishop will not be arrested concerning the shooting because he also "is a victim". But that he would only be arrested if he refuses to honor the invitation......."We’re not interested in his return. We’ve invited him for Friday and he must come because failure to honour our invitation is an offense”, she added.
