Rats invades President Buhari's office, FFK reacts to the report
As we all now know, President Buhari who left Nigeria for treatment in London hospital for more than hundred days returned on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, as we can now clearly deduce, the old guy is still in a fragile state of health. Instead of the office of the presidency to tell Nigerians the gospel truth about the problem, they decided to play games with our intelligence.....how pathetic!!!!
So on Tuesday, the master game player, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, told Nigerians that President Buhari was forced to work from his home office because his main office was invaded by rats that damaged the furniture and the air conditioning system..........say what!!!
This he claimed, occurred while the ailing presido was away in the UK and so because of the infestation by the giant machine-gun-using rats, the office is now being renovated. In the meantime, the president he said, would be working from home till the renovation is completed.
In response to the report, the Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, took to his twitter handle to react to the cock and bull story as thus........
Here's my Take:
So much deceit from this government. Instead of the office of the presidency to tell Nigerians that the old guy is not feeling totally well and that he returned due to pressure from Nigerians, they are making things worse by telling us some senseless stories.
In my opinion, I don't think that there is anything wrong about the presido working from home if he's still sick. It shows his dedication to the well being of his people, but the problem is the huge lies that they are telling us now to cover up his current state of health. To make matters worse, the millions of Naira that would have been used in paying salaries to workers or suppressing the current recession would now be siphoned through this stupid renovation lies. How shameless could Nigerian Politicians get!!
Meanwhile, Lauretta Onochie in July tweeted that Buhari is suffering from "old age", so if he is too old to carry out his duties, why not he respectfully resign and enjoy his time with his children, and grandchildren instead of stalling the lives of millions of Nigerians.......
