FCT Abuja Demolishes Patience Jonathan’s Plaza

“A department under Federal capital Territory (FCT) Administration has demolished a property belonging to Patience Jonathan, former president Goodluck Jonathan’s wife.”—NaijaNews.com


Naija News has it that Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) destroyed the property and other alleged  “illegal structures for violating the laws of FCT Land Use Act”.

According to THISDAY, the demolition that was tag, ‘‘A. Aruera Reachout Foundation/Women for Change Development Initiative’ in Mabushi Area of Wuse ll, Abuja, was supervised by AMMC Coordinator, Umar Shuaibu’.


Shuiabu claimed that the structures in Wuse II, were destroyed because they were “illegal”. He also mentioned that they would be coming for “other illegal structures in the Federal Capital Territory”.
He also said “that the AMMC demolished the former first lady’s building because she refused to comply with the notice issued by council in November last year which was pasted on the demolished property, asking owners to produce the necessary approvals within six days”.—NaijaNews.com

Man, His Wife And 3 Kids Dies Of Suspected Food Poisoning In Anambra State

A family of 5 have died of a suspected food poisoning in Okija, Anambra state. The incident reportedly occured on Wednesday 9th of August, 2017. According to the Facebook user, Don val who shared both videos and photos of the incident, the man-of-the-house and his kids started vomiting blood while they ate from the super his wife and mother of kids prepared. The man and his 3 kids were then rushed to the hospital but unfortunately they all died one after the other.
