New Year disaster In Calabar| Fire destroys Marian Market

“Traders in the capital city of Cross River State welcomed the new year with a tragic fire that destroyed many shops at the popular Marian Market in Calabar.”—Pulse.ng

A report by Channels Television, revealed that the fire disaster started in the early hours of January 1, 2018. Some of the victims of the outbreak are blaming the incident “on high voltage”. But the actual cause of the fire is yet to be identified.

The Victims also “claim that the state's fire service was alerted to the fire but couldn't properly attend to it because they complained about lacking the tools to help extinguish the fire”.—Pulse.ng……….(so Nigerian, shameful !!!).


Goods and properties worth millions of naira were lots in the tragedy…….(what a way to start the year…sad)

Man, His Wife And 3 Kids Dies Of Suspected Food Poisoning In Anambra State

A family of 5 have died of a suspected food poisoning in Okija, Anambra state. The incident reportedly occured on Wednesday 9th of August, 2017. According to the Facebook user, Don val who shared both videos and photos of the incident, the man-of-the-house and his kids started vomiting blood while they ate from the super his wife and mother of kids prepared. The man and his 3 kids were then rushed to the hospital but unfortunately they all died one after the other. The heart broken wife and mother who couldn't bear the pain of losing her family slumped on Friday the 11th and also died.  Here's the report as was shared by Don Val........
