55yrs old Prophet Moses Urovbu allegedly placed the victim [Michael Edjedjere] on a seven days dry fast. Monday Edjedjere was reportedly chained to a coconut tree behind the church all through the duration of the fasting.
He was constantly beaten until he died on the 2nd of April, 2018. After his death, his brother took the matter to the local police who then arrested the so-called prophet.

The 55-year-old Prophet, Moses Urovbu, was arrested for allegedly beating 30-year-old Monday Edjedjere to death in his church premises at Evwreni, on April 2. . . According to Sunnews, Urovbu had placed the deceased on seven days dry fast. To compound the condition of an already sick man, Edjedjere was chained to a coconut tree at the back of the church during the duration of the dry fast. . . The deceased was constantly beaten till he became too weak and gave up the ghost. The deceased’s brother, Michael Edjedjere reported the case at Ughelli Police Station following which policemen arrested Urovbu. . . While narrating what happened, the suspect, said: “I put the deceased on seven days dry fast. He started proving stubborn and broke the church plastic chairs. . . As a result, my pastors joined me and we chained him to a tree at the back of the church. The injuries on his body were sustained while flogging him with holy water cane so that he can be healed.”

Man, His Wife And 3 Kids Dies Of Suspected Food Poisoning In Anambra State

A family of 5 have died of a suspected food poisoning in Okija, Anambra state. The incident reportedly occured on Wednesday 9th of August, 2017. According to the Facebook user, Don val who shared both videos and photos of the incident, the man-of-the-house and his kids started vomiting blood while they ate from the super his wife and mother of kids prepared. The man and his 3 kids were then rushed to the hospital but unfortunately they all died one after the other.
