A LOS ANGELES  judge has sentenced a woman to life in prison while her lover was sentenced to death for the death of the woman’s son in May  2013……
The California mom and her lover were sentenced on Thursday. The couple were found guilty of  the “”beyond animalistic” killing of the woman's 8-year-old son[Gabriel], who prosecutors say was punished because the couple believed he was gay”.
The LA County Superior Court Judge George Lomeli told the couple that he wishes that their conscience endlessly tortures them for the, manner with which they tortured and killed their son. “I can only wish ... that it tortures you," the judge said.—The New York Times
The victim was reportedly beaten repeatedly for several months. He was “starved, tied up, locked in a cabinet, shot with a BB gun and once had his teeth knocked out with a bat, the judge said”. He sustained “a fractured skull, broken ribs and burns across his body.”—The New York Times

Man, His Wife And 3 Kids Dies Of Suspected Food Poisoning In Anambra State

A family of 5 have died of a suspected food poisoning in Okija, Anambra state. The incident reportedly occured on Wednesday 9th of August, 2017. According to the Facebook user, Don val who shared both videos and photos of the incident, the man-of-the-house and his kids started vomiting blood while they ate from the super his wife and mother of kids prepared. The man and his 3 kids were then rushed to the hospital but unfortunately they all died one after the other.
